Throughout his career, Joseph has held leadership positions at both McGill University and at the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library. He is an active member of IFLA, a previous Vice President of the International Association of Music Libraries (IAML), and serves on both the HathiTrust Program Steering Committee and the HathiTrust Community Metadata Strategy Task Force. He is currently the Associate Dean, Collection Services at McGill University.
