Houman Behzadi is Head Librarian of the Marvin Duchow Music Library, McGill University. Prior to this appointment, he was responsible for building the print, electronic, and audiovisual collections of the University of Toronto Music Library (2014-18). Houman has served on the MLA Resource Sharing and Collection Development Committee and has co-taught a music collection development course for the American Library Association a part of a collaborative initiative with MLA. He is currently Past-President of the Canadian Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres, and has served as Chair of the New York State-Ontario Chapter of MLA. Houman holds a Master of Music degree from Western University and a Master of Library and Information Studies from McGill University.
